The short film “Impression” was made to the work of the same title, composed by Leszek Wisłocki. …In addition to interesting photos appearing in the film (taken by Tomasz Sikora) directing work by Andrzej Miękus, excellent vocalisation of Elwira Janasik, as well as make-up and costumes made by Jaga Hupało, the performance and pantomime of supporting actors and actresses – Antonina Wolf, Joanna Zubrycka (Miss God), Joanna Drabig and David Anger – also deserves recognition. A big surprise for me was a short performance by Olgierd Łukaszewicz as Theseus, who completes the whole film with his elegance and mature dignity. Bogusław Kaczyński’s “Orfeo” Foundation has become a new partner of Polish Opera Now. The Foundation has been grounded by Bogusław Kaczyński, Polish journalist, publicist, music critic, populariser of opera, operetta and classical music, TV creator, cultural animator, presenter and author of TV programmes.
The aim of the Foundation is to support and promote young talents, create concerts, organise shows, meetings, recitals and exhibitions in order to continue to bring the beauty of art closer and awaken people’s love for music and art. The “Orfeo” internet platform comments on current events, informs about interesting new initiatives and hosts “Orfeo Stage” which provides online streamings of performances.
