Paweł Szkotak theatre director educated also as clinical psychologist and culture manager. He founded Teatr Biuro Podróży, “Maski” International Theatre Festival, “Bliscy Nieznajomi” International Theatre Festival, “Metafory Rzeczywistości” Drama Competition. He is president of the Polish Association of Theatre Directors from 2015 to today. As stage director he has directed numerous theatre, opera, television as well as radio productions. Paweł Szkotak has been decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit, the Bronze Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis, the Medal of the Young Art and the Passport of “Polityka”. The productions he has directed have won awards at various theatre festivals.
